So instead this week I’m going to talk briefly about each issue and why I picked it but if you want to more detailed and deeper discussion on these books please check out the Pick of the Week podcast for May 22, 2013.

1. East of West #1 by Jonathan Hickman, Nick Dragotta, and Frank Martin [Image] I feel like there is a God I need to pray and sacrifice a large animal to say thank you for being blessed with a brand new ongoing comic book from Jonathan Hickman. This comic has a lot of ideas that it has to get across to set up this alternate universe that it makes its setting. Hey Comic Impact! Welcome to Antonio’s Top 5 Comics of the Week brought to you by Marvel Comics! Not really but boy do I wish. I am limited by the money that I have and my pull list. I’m a Marvel guy through and through and sometimes the top 5 ends up being exclusively a Marvel top 5 of the week, that’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy everything else I read I just enjoyed what’s on the top 5 more. So I hope you enjoy and don’t hate on me this week too much.
