One of the features we do here at Comic Impact is the cosplay girl (NO anime, manga, role-playing games just comics) of the month, that’s right hot girls dressing up like your favorite super- hero characters. This month we’re privileged to have  Scarlett Fly  as the Cosplay Girl of the Month

CosplayGirlofTheMonthMarch2014A1-What is your name?
Scarlett Fly

 2-How old are you?
Old Enough

3-Do you read comics and if so, what are your favorite titles?
I have to say I have not read comic books since I was a kid.  I am a TV and movie junkie.   That’s where I find my characters

4-What is your favorite comic book character?
It was Wonder Women growing up

 5-What got you into cosplay?
I have collected autographs since I was a child.  I started to attend cons to add to my collection. A Cosplay friend eventually talked me into dressing and I haven’t been able to stop since

6-If you do more than one character which one is your favorite, and if you do only one do you have some ideas for more costumes?
My favorite will always be Poison Ivy.  She’s my first 100 percent made costume.  I like to do different variations on her also such as CosplayGirlofTheMonthMarch2014Bfemtrooper poison ivy and others to come

7-How long does it take for you to make a costume?
Each one is different. I am a flight attendant so most if them are taken on long trips with me and done in my hotel room

8-Have you met any of the artists or writers where your costume is based on their work?
No but there is still plenty of time.  I’m sure I will

9-Do you buy any toys, busts and etc. based on some of your favorite costumes?
Yes. My house is full of stuff. Mostly Star Wars and Poison Ivy items

10-So do people know you dress up like a comic book hero on your free time?
Close friends and family know.  I don’t generally tell people I work with.

11-What is the funniest thing that has happened to you at a convention?
One of my favorite walking dead stars tied me up with my own whip.  Then he swapped my mask for his sunglasses.  We had a blast

12- Do kids come up to you and think you are the real life character?
Yes. Mostly when I am Catwomen and wonder women   Those are my favorite pictures

13-What do you like to do when you’re not costuming, such as other hobbies?
Being on the road a lost I am a TV and movie freak. I also love to read and sightsee.  I also love concerts. Especially country music

14 -Do you have a website or a Facebook? So people can contact you?
