That’s right, wonderful followers of Comic Impact’s Podcasts, it’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for the new Pick of the Week Podcast! I know how happy you must be right now. I truly envy you. I wish I had the opportunity to listen to myself every single week. I mean I do, but I know what I’m going to say before I say it. You get to listen to it without knowing, with fresh ears. Anyway, Ken had the arduous task of picking the week for the POW this time. Shockingly, he decided to go with Uncanny X-Force #11. Astounding, maybe even, uncanny? Along with Ken, we got Simon and Ian to join in on the fun. This week the team discusses: Batman Beyond #6, Hellboy: The Fury #1, Flashpoint #2, Flashpoint: Abin Sur The Green Lantern #1, Flashpoint: Batman Knight of Vengeance #1, Haunt #16, Amazing Spider-Man #663, Fear Itself #3, Moon Knight #2, and X-Men #12! We also share the results of last week’s Poll of the Week which was about those Super 8 mini comics that were in all the DC books. So, check it out!

Holy bejeezus, WOW! Were you jonesing for a new POW, Pick Of the Week Podcast as much as I was? I hope not, because those withdrawal shakes were getting pretty bad. But, it’s here now! We can rejoice! But, it is a bittersweet moment, as Sheldon could not join us this week. Ian has the pick and he went with Uncanny X-Force #4, written by Rick Remender with “Holy crap, it’s stupid how great that art is” art by Jerome Opena. Ian is joined by Simon the French and Ken, the male bearded lady. They go on an on about the mountain of great books that came out on 1/26/2011. It’s a good, clean, fun romp for the whole family…okay, it’s not very clean or family oriented, but it is fun and there is DEFINITELY some romping going on. Just listen, find out and be disturbed. It’s gonna get weird!
